Power
The 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning will continue to be propelled by 2 electric motors with standard all-wheel drive, unless we are informed otherwise. The 98 kWh battery used in the Standard Range option has a 230 mile range, while the 131 kWh battery used in the Extended Range version has a 320 mile range. Ford claims that the 2023 Lightning will produce 563 horsepower and 775 lbs-ft of torque thanks to the Extended Range battery and two motors. The payload is estimated to be roughly 2,000 pounds, while the maximum towing capacity (when equipped with the Max Trailer Tow package and Extended Range battery) is 10,000 pounds. The Extended Range battery will also come with a normal 80-amp charging station.
