The Ford Expedition is bigger than the Toyota Sequoia and when it comes to large, family sized SUVs, size really does matter. The Ford Expedition is larger than life, and larger than most families can handle. The Ford Expedition is 2 inches longer, and 2 inches taller than the Sequoia which translates to more leg room and head space for you and your passengers. When it comes to comfort in an SUV, oftentimes the best way to know if an SUV is more comfortable than another is simply by which one is larger, all bucket seats offer similar amounts of comfort, but having more space makes a massive difference.
On top of the standard model Ford Expedition, there is also the Ford Expedition Max, which really ups the ante when it comes to space. The Expedition Max is 14 inches longer than the Sequoia, giving you a few more inches of leg space and loads more cargo space. Speaking of cargo space? Which vehicle has more? Again the Expedition wins here. The cargo space of the Sequoia is only 12 cubic feet, while the Expedition offers 20 cubic feet, not to mention the Expedition Max which offers 30 cubic feet. (You might need to double check your garage can fit the Expedition Max though).
