2023 Ford Expedition vs Chevy Suburban

The 2023 Chevrolet Suburban is larger than the standard 2023 Ford Expedition, this is because the Suburban is more comparable to the Expedition Max in size and the Chevrolet Tahoe is more akin to the Expedition in size. However even when compared to the Suburban the Expedition prioritizes a few different aspects of travel over the other.

The Expedition focuses on leg room and space, and your rear seat passengers will be extremely grateful for this, adults even feel comfortable in the rear seat. The Suburban prioritizes cargo space, so the Suburban has about 10 more cubic feet than the Expedition. The Ford Expedition and Chevrolet Suburban are fairly evenly priced. The Chevrolet Suburban starts at around $57,000, a little bit less expensive than the Expedition which starts at around $59,000. On higher level trims, it can alternate between which is more expensive, so the two are pretty evenly matched, making it difficult to choose one over the other solely for price. After that the Ford Expedition stays about $1,000 more expensive on every trim. In the end the prices even out, with the Ford Expedition offering a little bit more on upper trims than the Suburban, for example larger infotainment screens, upscale seating, and seats that fold completely flat.
